ERP Analyst

Responsibilities:
  • Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications
  • Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures

Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:
  • In conjunction with the other payroll staff, performs all payroll related processing for exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Works with company locations and personnel as required ensuring accurate payroll processing
  • Reviews payroll for completeness and accuracy. Ensures the computing, withholding or deductions associated with net pay is completed properly.
  • Approves journals to balance accounts
  • Resolves processing discrepancies
  • Completes a variety of government reports
  • Maintains employee payroll records and time card processing/reconciliation
  • Ensures complete collection of all hours worked data from each location to produce weekly and biweekly payrolls. Reviews and imports time entries from the time clocks or via spreadsheets completed and approved by the appropriate management.

Requirements:

Order Entry Clerk

Responsibilities:
  • Review all awarded projects with Order Entry Supervisor to help determine the most efficient manner in which to process all sales orders
  • Enter all awarded projects in to Epicor/Vantage ERP business operations system while utilizing speed, efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist business in providing Vantage reports and various schedules (i.e. backlog reports, major project activity, and daily job report)

Maintenance Technician

  • Maintain all equipment as required by the equipment supplier and Sabre operating guidelines

  • Attend all specialized training courses as deemed necessary for equipment and/or repair

Requirements:
  • 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior galvanizing experience preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Effectively and safely utilizes ladders, manlifts, forklifts, overhead cranes, monorails, etc.
  • Must be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to obtain STS Forklift/Crane Certification
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Must be physically able to climb stairs and ladders
  • Capable of working at elevated heights up to 60'
  • Capable of working in hazardous environments such as acid containment areas and high temperature areas

Civil/Mechanical Staff Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Use engineering skills to prepare calculations for metal and pre-cast concrete structures, initiate, modify, and recommend approval of drawings
  • Perform basic to moderate design tasks including site preparation, structural, electrical layout and overall building plans.
  • Provide technical input to managerial personnel regarding design, construction, program modifications and structural repairs.

  • Efficiently able to use CAD systems.  Experience in AutoCAD and Inventor a plus.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings and other structures.
  • Ability to apply arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus and statistics
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

CAD Technician

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records.
  • Coordinate structural, electrical and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation to graphically represent building plans.
  • Layout and plan interior room arrangements for buildings using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software.
  • Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and quantity of required materials.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in 3D design, CAD experience, drafting, or a related field.

The Fabricator works under the direction of Tower Shop Supervisor, and performs machine set-up for multiple machines (Quick Drill, Press Brake, Plasma, Cut/Punch Machine, etc). Duties include, but are not limited to, operating overhead crane, machine PM’s, verifying parts to prints, verifying the material used for parts to print, and positioning plates on the press for forming.

Requirements:

Sub Arc Welder

Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Tower Shop Supervisor and his appointed Lead, the Long Seam Welder uses specified welding processes and procedures to achieve 100% penetration welds for specified lengths of each shafts seam within prescribed codes, and according to prescribed procedures, specifications, and drawings.
  • Performs visual inspection of the entire length of each seam to identify areas requiring repair.
  • Reads and interprets drawings and/or computer print out “flatsheets” to determine requirement for 100% penetration welds.
  • Grinds and/or air-arc gouges areas as necessary in preparation for welding.
  • Adjusts welding machine to achieve desired results within parameters of established welding procedures.
  • Using specified welding process (FCAW, GMAW, and/or SAW,) welds required areas to obtain 100% penetration.

  • Uses plasma torch and oxy-fuel torch to cut steel. Uses jigs for laying out vang slots and for cutting holes in shafts for inserting hand hole rims, arm mounting simplex, couplings, and other small parts.
  • Uses motorized grinders, motorized buffers, stone grinders, and drills to help assemble pole assembly according to prescribed specifications, codes and drawing.
  • Operates oxy-fuel torch to preheat parts prior to welding. Reads codes and specifications to determine proper temperature and uses instruments provided to measure temperature.
  • Uses pneumatic drills and magnetic drills to drill and ream various sizes holes in poles as required by the drawing.
  • Uses overhead crane to load finished poles into bolsters for transportation out of the pole assembly area.

Welders

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
Qualified individuals will be responsible to perform the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Manually positions pole assembly into pole rollers for welding.
  • Reads and interprets drawings and specifications to determine proper location of attachments, as well as weld size and configuration.
  • Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides feet, inches, fractions, and decimals.
  • Uses oxy-fuel torch to pre-heat parts to be welded in accordance with published welding codes and specifications
  • Uses GMAC or FCAW welding process to weld small components or assemblies.
  • Works in confined areas at various locations on the small pole assembly line as necessary to weld components.
  • Uses chipping hammer, wire brush, motorized grinders, and motorized wire brush at various times to clean welded areas.
  • Uses pneumatic drills and magnetic drills to drill carious size holes on pole assembly as required by drawings and specifications.
  • Visually inspects work to identify material discrepancies and to ensure that welds have been completed in compliance with applicable drawings and specifications.
  • Uses a weld gauge to measure weld size.
  • Reads and interprets work orders and daily production schedules.
  • Assists fitters in assembly as needed.
  • Uses measuring tape, level, square, and angle finder to measure distances and angles.
  • Uses oxy-fuel cutting torch and plasma-arc torch to cut steel.
  • Operates assembly line conveyor system to move tubular shafts into position for cutting on band saw and for fitting.
  • Operates band saw for cutting tubular shafts according to specifications.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a mathematical aptitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Basic knowledge of shop mathematics to include: addition, subtraction, fractions, multiplication, and decimals is required. Must be proficient in reading complete prints, specifications and have the ability to use different types of measuring devices and gages.

  • 3 years of previous manufacturing experience

Responsibilities:
Qualified individuals will be responsible to perform the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Performs non-climbing general construction of tower sites to include, but not limited to: site layout, clearing, excavation, foundations/slabs, tower assembly, trenching/conduit installation, ice bridge, h-frames, fencing, aggregate roads/compounds, maintenance/repair and other tasks in accordance with specified work orders.
  • Picks-up/Delivers supplies, tools, equipment, components, etc., via company vehicle (towing trailer if applicable).
  • Responsible for the upkeep of all company-issued tools and equipment.
  • Maintains and submits complete and accurate files/logs/reports as determined by supervisor and/or other management personnel.
  • Develops and maintains a positive company image. Specifically:
    • Provides superior customer service, ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner
    • Adheres to all driving requirements as determined by State and Federal regulations.
    • Adheres to all Company and industry (i.e., OSHA) standards/regulations
    • Vehicle remains clean and presentable at all times

Requirements:
Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and 1+ year(s) recent construction, electrical, technical or mechanical experience. Must possess the ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions; be organized with strong attention to detail and have the ability to work independently under limited supervision. Qualified candidates must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be a self starter, team player and results oriented. Must be able to follow all safety policies and procedures while contributing to and maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work environment. Candidates must be available to travel extensively within regional states, including overnight stays.
